The South African Mathematical Society (SAMS) invites universities across South Africa to apply for the SAMS Bronze Medal, awarded in recognition of the best Honours student in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.
Universities that wish to award the medal to their top Honours student are requested to contact the SAMS General Secretary, Dr. Madelein Thiersen (madelein.thiersen@nwu.ac.za), by no later than 15 September 2026.
