As a member of the South African Mathematical Society (SAMS), you are invited to nominate candidates for two awards of the Society: the SAMS Award for Research Distinction and the SAMS Award for Advancement of Mathematics.

Kindly submit your nominations to the Vice-President of SAMS, Dr. Simo Mthethwa (mthethwas4@ukzn.ac.za ), by no later than 31 May 2026.
Please note that nominations are not carried over from previous years. If a candidate was nominated in a previous year and was not selected, a completely new nomination must be submitted.
